After about 4 months of casting two concrete caissons onboard barge Carrier 8, it was time to depart from Swinoujscie, Poland to Gothenburg, Sweden. Production of caissons in Swinousjce by Aarsleff with delivery to PEAB, Gothenburg as collision protection. Tug Commander 1 towing barge Carrier 8 and dimensions of the caissons are almost 40m long, 10 m wide and 5,5m high, weight of about 2000 tons each. After a successfull float off operation in Masthuggskajen the caissons were towed to site.
