We are currently involved in this maritime infrastructure project with Italian company Sales. As part of this project, barge Carrier 16 is used as a production platform for casting large concrete caissons. The barge is on charter in port of Piombino, Italy since September 2025. Approximately once a month we will perform a float off operation to launch a caisson. We are happy to present that the first float off operation was performed successfully this weekend. Each concrete caisson measure 36m long, 16m wide and 8m high and weight 3200ton. The caissons is to be towed by our Tugboat Master to Sardinia for the construction of a new pier.
